Tonight,I am feeling a little bit better though I am still a little at edge. The work shift didn't start out too good. The pick-up went without a hitch with no messes to clean but when i got to the work place,I saw that the person from the previous day left a load in the dryer and not only that,he overloaded the washer. He put in linens and blankets together and left it to soak in water overnight. When I got the loads out of the washer,I found that they were sopping wet.I had to separate the loads and put them into separate dryers so they could dry up while I started a fresh load of dirty linens. The worst part of this was that they took a long time to get dry as a result of them lulling in water overnight in the washer and I had to wait to start any newer loads of laundry because of this.Fortunately, the laundry did eventually dry and I folded everything. But this did take a big bulk of my morning schedule to get done. After folding up everything that I washed and dried,I bagged all of it and dropped it off at the rehab center.
On the way home,I stopped at the bank to withdraw some money for my mom and myself. For her,so she could get a few presents for my grand niece and me,so I could get that light socket for my left front turn signal. After I registered the bills at Where's George and finished my personal computer work,my mom and I left the house.
I dropped my mom off at Wal-Mart so she could get the gifts and I went to the local junkyard to get the socket for my turn signal light.
After I bought that and I picked my mom up,I went to my mechanic to get the socket installed and it didn't take too long.It only took less than a minute and I was off.
When we got home,I went to my room and relaxed a bit and I also read while doing so.I then had a light dinner and I am now relaxing after the long day.
I am now eagerly awaiting the next day.Tomorrow is another work day and I am hoping that the shift goes smoothly. After that,it's the weekend.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
