Tonight,I am feeling great.I had a pretty good day today.
The work day,despite a rocky end,was a smooth one.But I had to rush through to get the job done by the end of the day and to also remember to get my personal stuff out of the cellar so they could lock up for the day.Apparently,a minor misunderstanding happened where the division coordinator smelled bleach coming from the basement but I don't know how that could be because I didn't put any bleach in the laundry loads.I did share with the job coach the whole story and she told me that the coordinator didn't say anything to her and that she would at least try to talk with him and see if something can be reached.I will be checking with her tomorrow to see if anything did come about.After I hurriedly bagged the clean laundry and got my personal stuff together,I dropped everything off at the rehab center and after making a stop along the way at a store for a bottle of water,I headed for home.
The day weatherwise was very humid.Despite having some rain,the day was still HAZY & HUMID and the rain did little to cool everything down.But I tried to keep a positive attitude about this and when I arrived home,I had to get ready for the last meeting of the SSA Recovery group that has now ended.
I did finish my personal PC work and I also had a light dinner because tonight's final meeting with the SSA Recovery group was going to be special.I wanted to make sure that my appetite was saved for the food that they were going to serve.
The final meeting was the coup de grace.We ended this group with many prayers and many sharings of what we got out of this.We also had lots of party type food and that was really neato.It was a wonderful finale and I was overjoyed to meet a great group of wonderful people.Not only that,I am hoping to be getting together with the next phase of SSA recovery.Starting next Tuesday,there will be a spiritually themed sexual addiction group meeting at another church somewhere else.I am hoping to get an awful lot out of this group once it starts.I am hoping that this next group really benefits me in a positive way.Again,I am looking forward to that first group meeting next week.
Tomorrow is simply a pick-up day.I am hoping that the pick-up really goes smoothly.I also have an appointment with my sexual abuse support counselor in the afternoon.I am hoping that the session with her also goes well.
When I did get home earlier today,I checked my mail and one of the movies that I ordered via IOFFER had arrived.It is The Gong Show Movie.I did watch a little bit of it and hopefully on Thursday afternoon,I want to watch the whole film.The other movie that I am waiting on is Song Of The South,which is a WalT Disney classic.I ordered two of those.One for me and one for that friend whose birthday just passed and that his live-in girlfriend and I celebrated.I am hoping that he will appreciate getting this film.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
