Tonight,I check in feeling good.I had a wonderful day and night.Today,after dropping off the laundry at work,I went and did a little shopping at a thrift store.I found some really nice clothes that fit me pretty good.I did not even have to try them on.I just went over to a ruler they had and they were my size.The vast majority of them did not fit me but I found a few that did,which was great.This coming Monday,I might go out to another thrift store and see if there is anything more that do.Not only that,I also managed to add a few more record albums and singles to my ever growing record collection,which was also great.
Plus,I had a great session with my sexual abuse support counselor this afternoon.She gave me a little bit more good advice on how I can effectively handle my emotional problems and not be afraid to write what I am feeling down whenever an old feeling of anger comes around and all of a sudden,I am wound up in it.She is showing me how to handle the rage of emotions properly and tactfully so I do not get wound up in it.That made feel good.
Tonight,I went to my support group at the church and that went terrific.I made up for lost time from the cancellation last week and talked about everything that I wanted to get off my chest and that made me feel good.I shared what my sexual abuse support counselor advised me to do and the men simply nodded to indicate that they were listening,which was great.Again,I am glad to have found this group and I am also glad that I am attending the meetings.It feels great to finally feel accepted and have other men listen to you,which is better than ignoring you.Ignoring others is the worst form of emascualtion.
Tomorrow night,the Buffalo Sabres are hosting the Ottawa Senators.I am hoping for another win by them.
