Tonight,I am feeling mixed emotions.I had a really frustrating day today on the job.It was from stuff that was carried over from yesterday.Yesterday,the morning person was not there to finish his job when he left a couple loads of laundry in the washers yesterday.As stated last night,I simply removed the loads from the washer and due to an awful odor that I sensed on one of the blankets when I sorted out the loads that I brought in,I put the blankets that had the odors on them in the wash alongside a comforter in the other washer.The frustrating thing today was the afternoon person who was supposed to take over for the morning person did not even bother to show up to do his job.The loads that I started yesterday morning were still in the washers this morning when I arrived.This was really frustrating because I arrived there to start my job and here were both of the washers full of laundry that was supposed to be taken out and dried.Today,I had to finish what he was supposed to finish yesterday.I did manage to get my job going but it was not easy dealing with the dilemma that I had to deal with today.The work day was not so smooth as I had hoped for it to be.I really do not like it when somebody does not do their job accordingly and leaves other people to finish their job for them.If you have a job to do,simply do it and finish it yourself.It is not right to leave it for somebody else to finish it for you.It is also appropriate to simply tell the supervisor that you are not going to show up and explain why you can't.I am hoping that this does not happen again for a long time.
Right now,I am at home relaxing.I am still at edge over what I saw today at the worksite because it is something that I do not like to see.I am still feeling a little edgy over what happened and I am again hoping that it does not happen again for quite a while.I am also hoping that my shift tomorrow will go smoothly over today's work day.I know that not every day is going to work out the way I would like it to be.But still,I always hope for the days to go by smoothly and that everything works out the way it should.Again,I am hoping that tomorrow goes by smoothly.
After the work day tomorrow,it will be the weekend.I am going to be singing for the crowd on Saturday night and I am hoping for that night to go well.The Buffalo Sabres are also playing Saturday afternoon in Buffalo at 2:00p.m. in Game 5 against the Ottawa Senators.After the win on Wednesday night,I am hoping for yet another win on Saturday afternoon.That would be totally neato.
That was my day today and my hoped for day tomorrow.FJ
