Tonight,I am feeling okay.I had a pretty good day today.The laundry pick-up went smoothly and I also had a nice lunch.After lunch,I went to an auto scrap yard in my area and bought a slightly used driver side safety belt for my car.Though the safety belt has been working since Tuesday night,my mechanic still thinks I should get it replaced before it gives out again.Not only that,he also wants to make sure that I do not get a ticket from not wearing my belt because it is against the law not to.Hopefully,I can get it replaced tomorrow after work.
My session with my sexual abuse support counselor went great.We had our usual 1/2 hour talk and it was great.She is still impressed with my ability to hold my own while at the social club and on the job.I also have been saying to her that my support groups are still going well enough and that I have been attending them,which she said was good.
After that,I went shopping for my mom and bought a few things.I also bought myself an ice cream sandwich from Dairy Queen and waited a few minutes to soften up before eating it because it was frozen hard as a rock.I also managed to pop in a Salvation Army thrift shop just to look around.I didn't buy anything but I did enjoy browsing through the store and seeing if they had anything new.After that,I picked something up for my mom at one of her girlfriends before heading home.
After eating a light dinner,I managed to get a few things done.I made my bed and I also registered some bills at Where's George and despite some issues with my computer regarding the internet,I managed to get some more work done and I hope that I have reduced my work load for tomorrow regarding e-mails.
Tomorrow is a work day.I am hoping that the shift goes by smoothly.After that,I am hoping to finally get my safety belt repaired.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
