Tonight,I am feeling pretty good.I had a pretty good day today.
The work day went great.There wasn't an awful lot to do and there was no mess to clean up when I did the pick-up nor was there any work left behind by the person who worked the previous day.That was great.I simply did what I had to do and bagged all the clean laundry so I could drop it off at the rehab center.Even the lunch period in between was nice.
One of the negative things to happen was that one of the social club members was really sick.She is an epileptic who had four seizures overnight and overdosed on her epilepsy medicine to stop the seizures.She got really sick and had to be taken to a local hospital for treatment.I am just hoping that she made it out okay.I will ask a friend of hers how she is if and/or when I see them.Again,I hope that she is feeling better.
When I got home,I finished my personal PC work before having dinner.I had a light dinner of canned Chef Boyardee pasta because I had a meeting to go to tonight.After finishing,I shut down and I had my dinner.After eating,I left to go to my SSA Recovery meeting.
The meeting tonight was another wonderful one indeed.There were lots of words shared.A lot of feelings bared and tears shed,but tears of joy.There were also prayers said on behalf of all the other men in the group including myself.It was wonderful.I felt better and I also got some more out of it.I am eagerly awaiting the next meeting and I am hoping that it is as wonderful as tonight's was.
I also had a talk with a friend tonight.We were supposed to get together but since there is the possibility of rain tomorrow,we postponed it.But if the weather changes,it will go on as scheduled.
On the way home tonight,I stopped to see if there were any empty bottles at the house of someone I knew.There were and I also got a bag full of them.I also stopped elsewhere not too far away from there and a guy gave me lots more.I felt like that I struck it rich.But before I do the laundry pick up tomorrow,I do have to turn some of them in so there will be room for the laundry bags.
As stated,tomorrow is simply a pick up day.I am hoping that the pick-up goes smoothly.As for the rest of the day,I haven't made any plans but I am thinking that I just might take it easy tomorrow.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
