Tonight,I am feeling a bit better.I had a pretty good day today.
The work shift went by smoothly and I also had a very good lunch period.After I was finished,I bagged the clean laundry and dropped it off at the rehab center.After that,I headed for home.
On the way home,I stopped at a local supermarket and picked up a few things for my mom for dinner tonight.After dropping the groceries off at home,I drove over to my mechanic's garage to drop the car off there so the new windshield could be installed.I knew that it was going to be a while for the work to get done and I was taken home so I could wait there.
Whiel waiting,I watched a couple of episodes from my DVD of The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show.It was wonderful to see these after 34 years.I haven't seen a single episode of this Saturday morning variety show since it's cancellation.It was a treat seeing at least two of the episodes.I will be watching more in the near future.I received this DVD in the mail and I enjoyed seeing this after 34 years.
Around a quarter to 5:00 p.m.,I called my mechanic to see if everything was ready and it was.I was picked up by my mechanic's stepdaughter's husband so I could pick up my car and pay for the repairs that were done.They also did some patching up on a tire that had a nail in it and that added onto the bill.Not only that,my car passed inspection and that relieved me.I was feeling anxious about the whole thing because auto inspection time really stresses me out.I usually have a fear that my vehicle won't pass and that I have to have some work done to do it.Fortunately,there was no work needed and my car is good to go for another year.
After having a light dinner,I finally got around to doing my personal PC work.I am glad that this is now done.After putting it off the whole day,I got it finished and now,I have a feeling of accomplishment.I am just glad that things did work out.
Tomorrow is another work day.I am hoping that the shift goes well.After that,it's the weekend.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
