Tonight,I am feeling very good.I had a very good day today.
Today,when I woke up,I had a light breakfast and had a couple cups of coffee.I also managed to get my entire personal PC work done before noon.Despite not feeling well during the morning,I started to feel better later on when I started eating and having coffee.
I also managed to register a few more bills at Where's George today as I was doing my personal PC work.After doing that,I shut the computer down and I headed out to run a few errands for myself.
After I took a drive throughout the town for much of the day,I decided to stop at a Big Lots store in my area and I scored when I saw the DVD's that they had.I found several classics and even a few hard to find ones.Some of what I found were The Brood,Invasion of the Body Snatchers(1979 version),Rollerball(original 1975 film),Rock and Roll High School,Supernova(R rated version),The Bride(w/Sting and Jennifer Beals),Close Your Eyes,The Ghoul,Dangerous Game(w/Madonna and Harvey Keitel)"X":The Man With X-Ray Eyes and The Holy Girl.These films are very hard to find in any format and now,I have them.It was awesome finding these,buying them and adding them to my personal DVD library.When I left the store,I had a smile on my face that wouldn't leave and I am still feeling the happy feelings that I had earlier when I bought these films.
I also bought a can of frozen orange juice for my mom and I also bought a few slices of pizza for lunch while I was out.Before doing any of these things,I put $12.00 worth of gas in my tank and I started my day afterwards.It was a great day and I had lots of fun.
After eating a light dinner,I registered a few more bills at Where's George and caught up on some last minute PC work.I am still feeling good due to the great day that I had.Overall,an awesome day.
My night of entertaining the crowd went great.I had another wonderful night and it was awesome for all the positive accolades that I received from the people.I decided to do an early tribute to the birth of our nation by singing a couple of very patriotic songs.I am also looking forward to the upcoming holiday so I can take it easy and renew myself when the new week comes around.I will be having a 4 day weekend coming up and I am eagerly awaiting it.
Overall,my weekend was super duper and I am hoping that next weekend will be just as super.Of course,I have to wait a whole week but it will be well worth the wait.
As for the rest of the day into tonight,I am going to go have a drink or two with some of the guys at the place where I entertain and I am hoping for some wonderful conversations from the gang that will be there.
Tomorrow is my day off.I am hoping that the day will be very good.I haven't made any plans but whatever I do,I hope that it benefits me in a positive manner.
That was my weekend and my hopes for the start of the new week ahead.FJ
