Tonight,my road to recovery continues positively.I had a pretty good and eventful day today.
Today,I woke up in the early morning and bathed.I had a big day planned.I was going to church this morning and I was really looking forward to it with a lot of enthusiasm. After my bath,I had my usual quick breakfast and my usual 2 cups of coffee. After that,I did some personal PC work before getting dressed up to attend the morning's church service, which again,I was looking forward to with a lot of enthusiasm.
The service this morning was wonderful. It also lasted nearly half an hour longer than usual as we had a visiting presenter and a children's choir to entertain us with a song. But overall,it was really wonderful and I a, looking forward to next weeks service.I went straight home with a smile on my face and a good feeling within me.
When I got home,I helped my mom out around the house for a bit and I did a little bit more personal PC work. After that,I had to head out to a couple of stores to pick up a couple of things that were needed. After paying for those items in each of those stores,I headed straight home and that is where I stayed for the rest of the day as I had nothing else to do nor anyplace else to go.
When I got home,I relaxed and watched a movie in my DVD player.
After eating,I watched the evening news for a while and I also did some more personal PC work.Overall,a pretty good and eventful day.
Though my road to recovery continues positively,I am still dealing and struggling with the symptoms of depression.I am dealing with them on a one day at a time basis.I am still attending my therapy sessions.I am also taking my medication as directed.I am hoping to continue feeling better in the days and months ahead.
Tomorrow,I have to attend a recovery group meeting in the early afternoon.I also have a doctor's appointment shortly after that.As for the rest of the day,I have no other plans. But whatever I do,I hope that it gives me positive benefits.
That was my day today and my plans and hopes for the day ahead.FJ

Hi there Frank,
I just got around to reading you blog of today. Love what you are saying and the positive changes you are realizing. Good that your church experience was so positive and encouraging, mine was today as well. Weather is still nice here as I suppose it is also in your area, not so East of you in New York, Mass, etc. Will try in the near future to give you a call. Have a good week, don't get "Spooked" tomorrow!! Take good care.

Yes, this morning's service was wonderful. I also had some wonderful fellowship afterwards with the people that I worship with and I enjoyed it. I left this morning with a smile on my face. I am looking forward to next Sunday's service with a lot of anticipation and enthusiasm.
The East Coast did get some snow, but fortunately, we here in my neck of the woods didn't get any. It has been a mixed bag weather-wise here as we have had some really chilly days with rain and chills one day and sun a tad warmth the next. But it is all a sign that Winter is on it's way whether we want it to be or not.
I just have a few things tomorrow. I have a recovery group that I will be attending and after that, I have to see a doctor. I have been having endless headaches when I wake up in the morning and they have been really painful. I am hoping that the doctor can give me answers as to what is causing them and how I can reduce or hopefully prevent them.
Thanks again for your kind words. They are always appreciated. You also take good care Stan.
