Tonight,my road to recovery continues on a positive note.I had a very good and eventful day today.
This morning,I woke up in the early morning morning hours and bathed.After bathing,I had my usual quick breakfast and my usual 2 cups of coffee.After that,I swiftly did my personal PC work and got dressed up to attend the morning's church service.I am always eagerly awaiting the following Sunday ever since I started going back to church at the start of September and it has always been wonderful.
This morning was no exception.It was yet another wonderful service with quite a few more people in attendance.We also had a children's choir entertain us yet again and that was terrific.I again had some wonderful fellowship with the people before and after the service and the people,including the pastor,have been very loving and accepting towards me.I am eagerly awaiting next Sunday's worship service as I left there this morning with a smile on my face.I headed straight home.
When I got home,I got out of my suit and into my casual clothes.I was preparing to go to the laundromat to do my laundry as I had a tremendous lot.After getting it ready,I headed for there.
On the way there,I stopped at a local pizzeria to pick up a few pizza slices.I also went into a nearby convenience store to get a small bottle of milk for drinking.After that,I headed for the laundromat.
When I arrived there,I immediately found a machine ready to be used and I started my laundry.I had two big loads and it was going to take some time.After the wash,it was to the dryer that they went.After it was all done,I folded and bagged everything and I headed straight home and that is where I stayed for the rest of the day as I had nothing else to do nor any place else to go.
When I got home,I put all of my laundry away and I relaxed and watched a DVD while doing so.
After eating,I watched the evening news for a while and I also did some more personal PC work.Overall,a very good and eventful day.
Though my recovery continues positively,I am still dealing and struggling with the symptoms of depression.I am dealing with them on a one day at a time basis.I am still attending my therapy sessions.I am also taking my medication as directed.I am hoping to continue feeling better in the days and months ahead.
Tomorrow,I have a couple of groups that I will be attending.I might even attend an anger management support group tomorrow evening if time permits.After that,I have no other plans.But whatever I do,I hope that it gives me positive benefits.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
