Tonight,I am feeling pretty good.I had a long talk with a friend who I do not see very much.He is doing good.He told me that he is looking for another job because he quit his previous job and he says that he is looking for something better.I wished him the best of success and that I hoped that it worked out well for him.During the long time we talked,we talked about a lot of things,mostly things that we have in common.It was a very long conversation.We talked for over an hour.The only reason why we did talk for that long because we don't get to talk very much.But again,it was great to talk with him and we had a great time talking with each other.We are still hoping to get together in the near future for a little social thing and I am hoping that it is very soon.
Since I had the day off today,I helped my mom with her grocery shopping.We finally got it done and we were glad to get it accomplished.We bought a lot of stuff to get us through the rest of the month and that was great.We also had a wonderful day getting it done.We also had to hurry home afterwards because we did not like the look of the sky.It looked like that it might storm so we wanted to get home immediately before any possible storm would hit.It did rain on the way home but it was not much.Just a few droplets and a brief heavey downpour before returning to droplets and stopping.We did make it home.After my mom put the groceries away,we had a light dinner.We had a California Styled Salad with Shrimp and Ginger dressing.It was awesome.It was also neat having something different for a change.I enjoyed it and my mom enjoyed it as well.
I can not believe that the weekend is finally here.I am looking forward to singing up a storm tomorrow night.As stated previously,I will be doing a tribute to Elvis Presley because this week is the week of his death's anniversary.Elvis has been dead for 30 years.Where did all the time go?The time went by pretty fast.It is like that his death happened only yesterday.I am hoping that my tribute to the King Of Rock & ROLL goes well.
That was my day today and my hoped for day tomorrow.FJ
