Happy New Year Everybody!
Tonight,I am feeling pretty good.I had a not too eventful day today.But I did manage to run an errand for myself.I had to go get a bottle of windshield washer fluid from a gas station because as a result of the holiday today,most of the stores were closed.But I managed to grab a bottle and it is now in the trunk of my car.I also stopped at a convienience store to pick up a few candy bars that were on sale.After that,I went home.
Before I went out,I had a light dinner and I also finished my person computer work.I also had a talk with a cousin who I have not seen or even talked to in months since that big party last year celebrating the 50th anniversary of my aunt and uncle.It was great to talk with him and it was wonderful to hear from him.It was nice and I had a great time.What more can a guy ask for?
Last night,the New Year's Eve bash was a blast.I had a wonderful time with the whole gang being there and jsut having fun.I also entertained the crowd and even that went well.I got a positive response for all the songs that I did and I even had a share in a couple of other songs.It was a wonderful night.There was a lot of food and there was a lot of fine socialization and above all,it was fun and I mean F-U-N.I had a blast as I always do and it also made me forget about the negative feelings that I had when my father had the nerve to come into town.It also made me forget about that altogether.I can now say that it was a wonderful holiday season and it was terrific.I am now looking forward to this new year with a lot of hope,optimism and enthusiasm.I hope that it will truly be a great year for me.
Tomorrow is back to work.I am just fortunate that it is strictly a pick-up day.After I do that,I can simply go home and take it easy.Of course,I can do whatever I want.I just might go a see if the thrift shops have anything that I am looking for.But after tomorrow,it will be simply back to the normal work shifts.I just hope that all of this goes smoothly for me.
That was my day today and my night last night,including my hopes for the rest of teh week and the year.FJ
