Tonight,I am feeling okay.I had a pretty good day today.The laundry pick-up went by smoothly and I even had someone at the work site help me with the loads of laundry that I had,which was a treat in itself.After I sorted out the loads,I left and I went to a local thrift shop.I actually picked up a box full of oldie 45's.The thrift shop let me have the bunch for only #10.00,which was a steal.
When I got home,I sorted them out and there were some that were stuck together and I had to work really hard to separate them.Apparently,whoever had these records first had them put away somewhere in an attic or cellar somewhere in their house and any moisture that came into that area got onto them and that is why they stuck together.I also looked them all over and most of them need to be really cleaned up.I am going to sort them out again soon and separate the ones that need to be cleaned so I can clean them and try to play them.Hopefully,they can be cleaned and that would be really something.It was great finding all of these and now,they are going to be a part of my collection.They were also some assorted record label sleeves that I had to separate as well.But again,when I get them cleaned,I can add them to my collection and they will be a part of them.
I am now at home relaxing.I am anticipating the next day.I am hoping that the day goes by smoothly and that everything works out for the better.It was just a pretty good day and I did quite a bit.It was wonderful.
Tomorrow is a work day.I am hoping that the shift goes smoothly.I also have to mail out some important letters and necessary payments.I am hoping that they get there on time.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
