Tonight,I am feeling pretty good.I had a very good day today.I went and did a little shopping for myself and for my mom.I bought myself another new DVD.The DVD that I bought was the movie Reservoir Dogs,which is a Quentin Tarantino film.I have been a fan of Quentin Tarantino films since Pulp Fiction.I have several of his films in my DVD library.I still have only a VHS of Pulp Fiction but I am still working on getting the DVD of it.When I do,I can preserve my VHS video of it.But I am glad to now have Reservoir Dogs in my library.I can hardly wait to give this movie a spin in my DVD player.
Tonight,I watched the first installment in the new TV series Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles.It is an awesome show.I am looking forward to watching the 2nd part of the premiere tomorrow night.I am hoping that it's as awesome as the first part.I also hope that the series comes to DVD as well.I will buy it the minute that it comes to DVD.For now,I am just going to enjoy this.It is a welcome breath of fresh air in the midst of this terrible writers strike that is going on in Hollywood right now.I am also hoping that the strike is over soon.I am sick of seeing constant TV reruns.I hope that this writers strike is over soon.
Last night,my night of entertaining the crowd went terrific.It was back to normal and it was really great.I did my tribute to Elvis and the tribute was wonderfully received.I had a great time.I also had a friend with me to share this and even that was awesome.I left last night feeling pretty good and eagerly awaiting next Saturday night.I am hoping that it will be as wonderful as last night.
I also had a talk with a friend of mine who lives out of town and it was wonderful.It was only for a few minutes but it was still wonderful.He is doing pretty good as well.I am looking forward to talking with him next week.
The only negative drawback about last night was that a lady made me feel uncomfortable while I was singing my last song of the night.While I was singing,she was providing a little back up but she was also rubbing my butt while this was happening and as stated,it made me feel uncomfortable because no member of the opposite sex has done that to me in quite a long time.But I continued singing and trying to forget about it happening.Of course,I could not risk hurting her when she complimented me on having an awesome singing voice and that it was great to hear me do the songs that I have chosen.So I let it go at that and went home.
As for the rest of tonight,I might go out and have a drink or two with the guys over at the place where I sing for a while.After that,I'll go back home and watch another movie.
Tomorrow is my day off.My mom and I are hoping to get some grocery shopping done.I also have my anger management/conflict resolution support group tomorrow night.I am hoping that all goes well for me tomorrow.
That was my day today and my night last night,including my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
