Tonight,I am feeling pretty good.I had a pretty good day today.
The laundry pick-up went smoothly.I also had a helping hand when I arrived at the work site to drop it off and sort it out.After sorting out the laundry,I headed to my appointment to meet with the minister.
On the way there,I stopped at a Burger King in the area and I had a Veggie burger for lunch.I wanted to have some food in me before anything else.After eating,I headed for my appointment.
It took a bit of doing getting there.I also got lost a couple of times before I had to ask for help from a lady who was working by the side of the road.After she gave me some direction,I took the way she gave me and I found the street that I was looking for and the place where my meeting was going to be.
When I walked into the church,the minister greeted me and I apologized for being a few minutes late due to me getting lost.We talked for almost and hour and it was a very pleasant conversation.He simply advised me to find a church that teaches the bible on a regular basis but also,try to find one that believes in doing the right thing and refuse to compromise due to law.I said that I would try and do that and that I would let him know when I do.He walked me out and I drove away heading for home.
On the way home,I made a couple of stops.Firstly,I stopped at my mechanic's garage to clean out my old car of some cans and bottles that had accumulated in the trunk.I bagged them in a garbage bag and put them in the back seat of my 4X4 before heading off to a local supermarket to return some beer bottles and some cans for the little bit of money that they would give me.I headed straight home after that and I am staying here for the rest of the day.
When I got home,I watched another After School Special from the DVD set that I bought and I laid down for a short while before I had dinner.
After eating,I decided to do some last minute personal PC work and to browse some internet pages.Overall,a pretty good day.
Regarding my SSA struggles,I had no problems whatsoever.I had no cravings nor images creeping up on me.The meeting with the minister really helped me to forget about anything sexual.Plus,all the concentration that I had to do regarding the road also helped.I feel pretty good as a result of this and the day turned out to be pretty wonderful.
Tomorrow is a work day.I am hoping that the shift goes well.I also have an appointment with a new sexual abuse support counselor and I am hoping that this first session will go well.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
