Tonight,my road to recovery continues to go positively.I had a pretty good day today.
Today,I had to get up earlier than usual because my sister and my niece were taking my mom to the place where she was getting her eye surgery done.I was all alone for much of the day as a result.
After they left the house,I had a quick breakfast and my usual 2 cups of coffee.I also watched a little bit of TV,did my personal PC work,bathed to clean up and got dressed.Most of my day was spent at home awaiting the results of the surgery by either my sister or my niece.I was bored for much of the day as I awaited the results.I listened to music and I watched a DVD or two while waiting.
It was later afternoon when I finally heard from them and that they were on their way home.I had to get everything ready for their arrival.
When they got home,my mom sat down for a while and after my sister and niece left,I headed out to the local Super Wal-Mart to pick up a couple cans of soup for dinner.After paying for them,I headed straight home and that is where I stayed for the rest of the day so I could look after my mom for the rest of the day.
When I got home,we heated up the soups and ate them.
After eating,I watched the evening news for a while and I also did some more personal PC work.Overall,a pretty good day.
Though my recovery continues to go positively well,I am still dealing and struggling with the symptoms of depression.I am dealing with them on a one day at a time basis.I am still attending my therapy sessions.I am also taking my medication as directed.I am hoping to continue feeling better in the days and months ahead.
Tomorrow,I have made no plans.But whatever I do,I hope that it gives me positive benefits.
That was my day today and my hopes for the day ahead.FJ
